Tingstadens Gård

The estate of Tingstadens is a place with a very long history. From the beginning district court sessions were held here during the age of the Vikings and there are still remains from that time in the courtyard. Among other things an old Stonebridge and the gallows hill. A runic stone tells about the last hanging.

The dwelinghouse of the estate is from the eighteenth century. Today the old barns and the stable are rebuilt to rooms and cottages to accommodate for example camp or course participants, but they are also rented by summer visitors. The fronts of the buildings are still the same and they have names from their earlier use.

Activities
Every summer in June (holidays) we open up the gates of the estate for the publics. At that time we offer coffee with homemade pastries or a light lunch, as pancakes os sallad fro example.  You can allow your children to say hello to the animals and pat them, feed them or just run around and play on the lawn among the trees.

We also have some different activities for dogs and their owners in these environments.

Room renting
Do you want to stay in the stable, the barn, or better up on the hay loft, the pigsty or in the barrack on the meadow?
